GreeNaval: Eco-friendly Hybrid Yacht Series

We preferred electric motors in the GreeNaval propulsion system

As Naval Yachts we chose electric motors at the top of the range as a propulsion system in the GreeNaval hybrid yacht series. Electric motors with zero emission feature does not emit bad gas to nature, it works quietly and prevents noise pollution, it is completely friendly to the environment.

Electric motors can take the energy in three ways.

The first mains electricity: 220V or 230 V electricity from the marina can be filled with the needed electricity. It is not different from the principle we use for electrical appliances in our homes. Can be plugged into any 220V source

The second is solar panel: Due to the full and semi-flexible solar panels in our tanks, the needed energy can be obtained from the natural ways. This panel can generate energy up to 20kW per day in sunny weather. Thanks to this solar energy produced, it can be cruised for 2 hours at a rate of 5 knots per day and zero cost.

The third is the generators: Electricity generation can be provided by using diesel fuel when necessary.

We chose the electric motors of Torqeedo, which is the best in the field of GreeNaval aluminum hybrid yachts, and the batteries they developed together with Johnsons Control. The battery management system has a charging capacity of 3,000 times. If an average of 200 fillings per year is estimated, the life of the battery group can be calculated to be more than 10 years

Electric motors are easy to maintain. Problems such as high temperature, vibration and noise frequently occur in diesel engines are not present in electric motors. The electric motors offer a quiet, vibration-free cruise.
